Descent Dungeons is offering FREE Dungeon Monitor training before our Descent Before Dusk event.
Taught by the wonderful @-Tovi from our Calgary Community
This training is for people who are interested in supporting Descent Dungeons operations and becoming approved Dungeon Monitors at future Descent Dungeons events.
Training is free with:
A valid Descent Dungeons membership
A valid ticket for Descent Before Dusk on the same day
This training is open to newer and experienced community members. Prior DM experience is welcome, but not required.
Becoming a Descent Dungeons DM
To become approved as a Dungeon Monitor or crew member for Descent Dungeons, participants must complete:
The Dungeon Monitor training
A one-hour DM shadow shift during Descent Before Dusk following the training
One future scheduled Dungeon Monitor shift, or another approved crew shift, at a Descent Dungeons event
Completing the training and shadow shift does not automatically approve someone to DM independently. Final approval is based on readiness, suitability, event needs, and the discretion of the DM lead or event team.
Dungeon Monitors receive 50% off event tickets when scheduled for a one-hour DM shift.
